Droughns still questionable

Reuben Droughns might be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Droughns has a sprained foot and is one of nine players the Browns officially list as questionable Thursday. There were no changes from Wednesday's injury report.

Droughnswas out of his protective boot Thursday and stretched with his teammates before practice, but did not participate in portions of practice.

Browns coach Romeo Crennel said he's confident that Droughns could still play and be effective with limited practice time, if it comes to that. Crennel said Droughns will continue to receive treatment and will be evaluated over the next few days -- all the way up to Sunday morning if necessary.

Willie McGinest (ankle), Justin Hamilton (back) and Jereme Perry (ankle) did more in Thursday's practice than they were able to do Wednesday, whileLeigh Bodden (ankle), Droughns and Leon Williams (ankle) were still limited.

"We'll see where they are and then we'll begin to make some decisions as the week ends," Crennel said. "We'll treat them up to the last second and then go from there."

Crennel said Droughns "is experienced enough, he knows the reads" to play Sunday even with limited practice time.

Bodden was wearing a protective boot in the locker room Thursday morning and didn't seem optimistic about his chances to play, saying his left ankle injury "might be worse" than the right ankle sprain that caused him to miss two games last month.

"It really is day-to-day, and some days it feels better than others," Bodden said. "I can't really say if I'll be able to play. I want to play, but we'll see what happens."

The Steelers had two changes to their injury report Thursday.Linebacker James Harrison (ankle) was upgraded from doubtful to questionable, while linebacker Clint Kriewaldt (back) was bumped up from questionable to probable.
